Through its Carbon & Biodiversity Projects, SSV is restoring Sri Lanka’s ecosystems while creating economic value through verified carbon credits. These initiatives protect mangroves, forests, and wildlife habitats across coastal and upland regions, contributing directly to the Sri Lanka Carbon Credit Scheme (SLCCS).
Each project integrates conservation with community livelihoods enabling sustainable fishing, eco-tourism, and forest management programs that turn environmental protection into shared prosperity. With national and international partners, SSV ensures that every tree planted and every ecosystem restored contributes to measurable climate action.
